Big Water

A 2nd problem with most “affordable” water homes is they are on CANALS or the NARROW sections of Black Creek. You can keep your boat at the house but you’re looking at someone else’s BQ. It’s certainly not “scenic”. If the Boat's too big you can't maneuver. And parts of Black Creek flood. The homes must be built on stilts. Others you can’t get to during a Northeaster or Hurricane. No such problems on Magnolia. This is Doctors Lake - “Big Water”.

If you are not a local you may not realize this is not really a lake but a "protected finger" of the St Johns River. You can boat from your house to Downtown Jaguar Games in about 30-45 min. From there, to the Intracoastal or Ocean. No Bridge Height problems
